Crystal Workshop – Dowsing

This months Crystal Workshop is just in time for the flowing energy of the Sturgeon Moon. Because of the success of my Pendulum workshop a couple of months ago many of you asked me to do it again.

So this month you will learn how to use a pendulum for the purpose of;

–          detecting energy blockages in your body/chakras.

–          testing yourself for what vitamins you need or foods that are good or not so good for your body.

–          Listening to your intuition and interpreting the information you receive while using your pendulum.

–          How to use your pendulum for healing, with Reiki, massage, reflexology among other modalities.

–          How to clean your pendulum

–         To this I am also going to introduce the power of dowsing rods and how to use them.

I will be doing an Energy Balancing Visualization which will help you as you use your pendulums.

Your free gift this month is a Crystal Pendulum. There will also be a small Sprig of Sage to cleanse your Crystal with.

Sturgeon Moon

August’s full Moon was traditionally called the Sturgeon Moon because the giant sturgeon of the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain were most readily caught during this part of summer. A Blue Moon is not blue. According to Farmer’s Almanac, it refers to the second of two Full Moons in the same month.   It can also refer to the emergence of four, instead of three Full Moons in a “season,” defined as the period between a Solstice and an Equinox. When this occurs, the third of the four Moons is considered the Blue Moon, and in 2021, that is the Sturgeon Moon.

Pendulum

A dowsing pendulum is typically a rock or crystal that hangs on the end of a string or chain.  The pendulum is used as a way of gaining spiritual and material insight.  The dowsing pendulum works by tapping into your subconscious mind.  When you ask a question, your subconscious mind responds by influencing he nerve endings in your fingers causing he pendulum to swing in response. in other words, your body outwardly expresses your inner knowing.

Sage Meaning

Sage is a herb used in cuisines throughout the world.  It has been used for centuries by Native Americans, Egyptians and Romans.  It comes dried in bundles or loose as dried leaves.

Burning sage, also known as “smudging” has a long tradition among Native Americans, in rituals for clearing negative energy. Ancient Egyptians and Romans traditionally used sage to treat digestive issues, memory problems and sore throats and to promote healing and wisdom.  It is said to bring a sense of calm.  Like Paolo Santo, Sage is believed to have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties and has traditionally been used to treat colds and flus and viruses.
